1. Clients will be entitled to a complimentary consultation (up to 1 hour) with a package coordinator at Florida Villa Interiors Inc. (FVI) so that their requirements for the new property may be discussed. A floor plan of the property should be available at this meeting to ensure accurate advice and design ideas.

2. A $107 administration fee is required when the client instructs FVI to commence work on their behalf. The administration fee is non-refundable. A floor plan of the property needs to be submitted to FVI within 7 days to ensure an accurate package costing once the client instructs FVI to commence work on their behalf.

3. The complete listing and cost of the furniture package/s will be emailed or posted to the client for alterations, amendments and changes to be made.

4. A detailed list of the package, proposed installation date and final price will be sent to the client for confirmation. The client must confirm in writing all the items on the list are what they require and are final.

5. A 50% deposit is required 12 weeks before the proposed installation date. On receipt of deposit: furniture will be purchased by FVI on behalf of the client as per the confirmation list and can not be altered in anyway; clients agree to purchase their package in any eventuality.

6. FVI reserves the right to: replace any item of furniture with a similar item at the same cost if a line is discontinued for any reason; place a temporary item of furniture in the property in the event of items arriving damaged until a replacement has arrived. FVI will liaise with the owner and/or the owner’s agent when the items arrive to secure a suitable time that items can be exchanged.

 

7. Within 6-8 weeks of proposed installation, dates for set-up and completion are agreed and any other visits to the home for measurements will be arranged and executed. In the eventuality that the property is unavailable for installation on the agreed date, FVI will reschedule the installation in the next available installation slot.

8. The set-up process will take 2-4 days. FVI reserve the right to alter the set-up process duration due to the needs of the clients. Considerations include the size and location of the house.

9. A signed agreement from the clients for release of keys and house codes to FVI will be required for the installation process to take place. Keys and codes will be returned to or collected by the owner and /or the owner’s agent on completion. They may be changed at the owner’s discretion once the completion date agreed between FVI and the clients has expired.

10. On completion of the package installation: the owner or the owner’s agent will sign to verify that all items agreed upon are present in the property and set-up appropriately. Packages are deemed completed if temporary items have been placed due to reasons mentioned in condition #6.

11. 40% is paid 10 days before the agreed date of installation. Furniture will be placed in the property once this has been received. The remaining 10 % of the package cost is due within 5 working days of the agreed completion date.

12. Late final payments will incur late fees of $35 per day. After 10 working days of non-payment the debt will be refereed to a credit agency for collection.

13. Returned or cancelled checks will incur a cost of $100.
